Employee Malpractice

We know there are different types of malpractice, typically deliberate or that arising out of a poor work culture – for whatever reason.

Often, identifying the thief is more readily achieved than dealing with a work culture or ethos that has degenerated.

Both can cost a business dearly.

Scenario One:

An employee deliberately takes money or property, from his employer. With the right assistance the employer has a significant ability to both deal with the employment relationship and effect full or partial recovery of the loss.

Scenario Two:

An employee fails to service a piece of machinery before operating it resulting in damage requiring a major overhaul, but there is no documented procedure detailing any such service. The ability for recovery is negligible.

Recognise either of them???  We deal with these situations every day.
